TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
The pay for this position is a minimum of $1. Additional pay is dependent on funds raised by Community Athletics & Activities payable June 30 2025.
POSITION POSTING
The Moses Lake School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Middle School Head SoccerCoach for boys. Moses Lake Middle Schools participate in the North Central Washington Middle School League (NCW). The Moses Lake School District is committed to teaching and developing useful lifelong skills in its student athletes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated ability to effectively carry out the duties of the position and comply with the policies and procedures set forth by the Middle School Principal Athletic Director and the Moses Lake School District.
Exhibited knowledge of the sport demonstrated technical skills and successful experience teaching these skills to secondary school studentathletes.
Valid First Aid and CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain prior to the start of season.
Ability to meet WIAA age requirements applicable to the position.
Exhibited organizational skills and abilities to ensure a wellmanaged program.
Bilingual preferred.
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
WIAA standards require middle level coaches prior to the beginning of the third year of coaching to:
a. Complete the ASEP Coaching Principles Course from;or
b. Complete theNFHS Fundamentals of CoachingCourse; or
c. Attend all sessions of the WIAA Coaches School or other Coaches Schools as approved by the WIAA; or
d. Complete least thirty 30 hours of coachs education courses.
WIAA standards require coaches complete a minimum of fifteen 15 hours of coaching education courses each three year period following the initial two year cycle.
The WIAA recommends middle level coaches annually complete the WIAA general rules clinic and the WIAA approved rules clinic for the sport being coached prior to the end of the third week of the sports season.
