Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Certified Nurse Midwives are expert Advanced Nurse Practitioners in normal obstetrics and gynecology. They work collaboratively with the physician staff of the Womens Health Care Service with the responsibility and authority to independently evalute patiens and prescribe treatment within practice guidelines and their delineation of clinical privileges. They are care providers care managers and educators.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in Nursing with licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of degree in Nursing or Health Related field as Advanced Practice Nurse by the Vermont State Board of by the American College of NurseMidwives Certification Corporation.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of one years experience in clinical practice.
