Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Engineering & Field Services of the Substation Automation Systems including DCS and RTU
• Take the complete ownership of technical activities for assigned projects (Site Survey Engineering Design Ordering Material follow up material delivery Follow Up and Support Panels Integration PreFAT Internal Validation FAT with customer Supervise Site installations Conduct Site testing and commissioning Site Red markup and As Built Drawings system troubleshooting and rectification).
• Analyze customer requirements & specifications to propose innovative and costeffective solutions.
• Lead the design of the Substation LAN networks / Communication Architectures and configuration of industrial ethernet switches / routers and satellite clocks.
• Generate Purchase Requests for Materials required under the project with technical description.
• Participate with Project manager in customer end user subcontractor and internal meetings.
• Project planning to ensure timely achievement of project milestones as per project schedule.
• Manage project document flow.
• Follow the departments standard design process and contribute to continuously improving it.
• Coordination with the integration team at the Integration Facility to ensure smooth operation of integration activity with relation to materials and documentation.
• Lead and conduct PreFAT Internal Validation and FAT with customer.
• Lead and conduct Site installations supervision Site testing and commissioning Site Red markup and As Built Drawings system troubleshooting and rectification.
• Support Sales and Tendering team Study customers technical & commercial requirements. Support Management during contract negotiation
• Deliver Customer trainings with high customersatisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree 5 Years University Education) in Electrical Engineering or Communications Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and commissioning of Electrical Substation Automation Systems (IEC61850 RTU as well as site experience in conventional and digital control systems of electrical power substations.
• Practical experience in DCS (digital control systems) engineering product selections System architecture System Database Creation and Configuration System Validation FAT site installations supervision Site testing and commissioning as well as system troubleshooting and rectification.
• Knowledge of Sequencing & interlocking principles used in substation automation systems and their implementation on IEC61850 IEDs.
• Strong understanding of Algeria customer solutions / products specifications.
• Professional experience with Algerian customers within utility and oil & gas customers EPCs OEMs and system integrators
• Strong Time Management skills and ability to work under stress and react positively to sudden requests from internal and external customers and stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of communication/Automation protocols such as IEC 61850 MODBUS IEC 101/104 & T103.
• Cyber security solutions implementation in the field of Grid Automation knowledge is critical.
• Good knowledge of IT/OT Networking
• Excellent in MSOffice package (Word Excel Power Point Outlook).
• Ability and willingness to travel inside and outside Algeria up to 50 as required.
• Fluent in English French and Arabic languages. (oral reading and writing)

• Strong analytical skills to quickly understand and guide solutions to customer issues.
• CCNA certified or equivalent will be preferred (Nice to have)
• Good knowledge and use of CAD softwares such as AutoCAD MSVISIO
• OEM Company / System Integrator Company / or EPC Company experience is nice to have
