As a Lead Software Engineer youll be a key member of our R&D leadership team reporting directly to the CTO. About the Role:
Were looking for a handson leader who thrives in complexity builds strong teams and writes beautiful code. Someone who leads by example drives strategy with the CTO and invests in people as much as in technology.
What Youll Do :
- Lead & Mentor a team of talented software engineers providing technical guidance coaching and personal development.
- Deliver Complex Projects Navigate ambiguity align crossfunctional teams and confidently manage stakeholders.
- Code & Review Be handson in C# uphold high coding standards and facilitate code reviews.
- Collaborate & Influence Partner with R&D leads and product teams to align strategy unblock delivery and promote engineering best practices.
- Write & Communicate Own technical writing across proposals guides and reports and articulate complex ideas clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Innovate & Evolve Help shape Acusensus technology direction and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
What You Bring:
- 8 years of handson software engineering experience with deep expertise in C# and/or C. Java experience is also valued.
- Strong leadership background Youve led teams of 5 engineers mentored others and guided technical delivery in hybrid environments.
- Complex project delivery Proven track record of leading sophisticated engineering projects managing crossfunctional collaboration and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Technical Program Management (TPM) expertise You bring confidence structure and technical direction to projects and teams.
- Agile mindset Experienced in agile software development practices with a methodical wellorganised and detailoriented approach.
- Problemsolver & communicator Able to simplify complex challenges engage senior stakeholders and drive strategic decisions.
- Wellrounded technical toolkit (ideally) Exposure to AWS neural networks machine vision Docker Terraform Linux sensors image processing and machine learning.
- Modern tool familiarity Comfortable using JIRA Confluence and Slack to plan track and manage team workflows.
- Peoplefirst growthfocused Youre passionate about mentoring continuous improvement and fostering a highperforming valuesaligned team.
