Skilled Labourer USG Wheatland Wallboard Plant (Carseland Alberta)
Ledcor is hiring Skilled Labourers to join our team for the construction of the USG Wheatland Wallboard Plant in Carseland Alberta. This project involves assembling and installing a wallboard production line including product stands reels conveyors a natural gas drying kiln platforms stairs/ladders and stacking/loadout equipment. Additionally the construction scope includes the installation of ducting for air exchange systems heat exchangers and recirculation fans along the drying kiln.

Conditions
- Schedule: 5 days on 2 days off 10.5hour shifts)
- Project End Date: November 2025
- Location: Carseland Alberta (parking available onsite) Locals only No Camp
- Work Environment: Outdoor work in varying weather conditions

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform laborrelated tasks to support daily operations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through ongoing monitoring and maintenance
- Conduct groundwork activities such as shoveling snow raking pumping water ground preparation and serving as a firewatch
- Act as a spotter for heavy equipment to ensure safe operations
- Load and offload building materials efficiently & assist various trade groups with jobspecific tasks as needed
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with Foremen and Supervisors to ensure proper sequencing of operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Skilled Laborer in an industrial setting is preferred
- Physically fit (able to lift 50 lbs. bend kneel crouch and climb stairs regularly)
- Ability to pass preaccess drug and alcohol testing
- Valid Drivers License & reliable transportation (due to project location)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Additional certifications are an asset:
- ESC Fall Protection
- ESC Elevated Work Platform
- Basic Rigging
