Job Schedule: 9/80 REG Under this schedule employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday off.

Job Description:

We are looking for a strong Program Management leader to take on a vital role within our Communication Systems Business Segment PMX team. The focus of this role will be to driving critical thinking and business acumen in partnership with our Business Sectors resulting in increased productivity contract and business outcomes. It is critical to fully comprehend program management processes tools and best practices across the entire program lifecycle with the ability to translate into effectively setting up programs and contracts for success for all customer and business objectives.

Essential Functions:

  • Drive consistent Program Management processes across our programs and product lines including alignment/primary interface responsibility with L3Harris Program Management Excellence (PMX) organization
  • Act as 1st level escalation focal at the Segment level for program teams on PM tools including help needed and areas to improve usefulness and outputs of the tools
  • Ensure the business meets annual objectives by setting standards implementing PM Best Practices and monitoring resultant performance
  • Develop key PMX initiatives and effectively collaborate across Enterprise PMX organization Segment Functional organizations and Sector program teams to drive initiative outcomes and results.
  • Lead special projects focused on driving improved program
  • Instrument the business for relevant actionable preventative leading indicators
  • Perform and/or facilitate SME reviews for all Tier 1 and 2 Program Baseline Reviews prior to Sector reviews
  • Actively participate within CS Segment PM forum and community development opportunities; sharing cross segment and enterprise lessons learned and best practices
  • Lead projects and shortterm deep dives structure and execute analyses communicate findings to leadership determine plan to execute and implement solutions.
  • Leverage crossfunctional knowledge and relationships to understand issues trends and perspectives.
  • Identify challenges across the organization and create processes to solve them.
  • Partners closely with all sector and functions to align operations with strategy.
  • Identifies the right teams drives collaboration across the segment implements processes and gets in front of potential issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience or postgraduate degree and 10 years of experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Ability to Travel 25

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • At least 8 years of prior program management proposal management and EVMS experience
  • Demonstrated ability to present to executives/management on important topics
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently identify problems and propose solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work crossfunctionally across geographically disbursed teams
  • Additional prior functional / IPT lead experiences (e.g. Supply Chain Management Materials Finance etc..
  • Critical thinking and problem solving attention to detail and quality of product deliverables.
  • Experience working DoD projects in a Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) environment.
  • Experience in program growth through valueadded change proposal activity
  • Experience developing and executing a strategic plan
  • Capture management and proposal experience
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau PowerBI etc.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in Colorado State Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota Vermont and New York State is $130500 $242500. For California Seattle Washington D.C. Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area the city of Denver Washington State and New York City the salary range for this role is $150000 $278000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire schedule type and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
