We serve the residents of Hamilton County in more ways than you may realize! As the Network Infrastructure Manager at Hamilton County you will play a pivotal role in shaping and safeguarding the technology backbone that connects and empowers countywide operations. This role combines strategic oversight technical expertise and leadership to create resilient innovative and secure network infrastructure solutions. You will lead a team dedicated to advancing Hamilton Countys technological capabilities while ensuring continuity efficiency and adaptability across departments driving transformative impact and enhancing connectivity for the entire community
Summary of Job Duties:
- Responsible for the overall design maintenance and implementation of computer networks and internetworking services.
- Supervises technical computer network support personnel to ensure highquality performance.
- Reviews network functioning procedures and documentation for accuracy and improvement.
- Leads and mentors a team of network engineers and technicians prioritizing tasks evaluating performance providing training managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts to ensure highquality costeffective solutions for the countywide network infrastructure.
- Plans and coordinates all networkrelated projects to ensure completion within established timelines and budgets.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive network disaster recovery plans and continuity of operations plans for countywide systems
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- ten 10 years of progressively responsible experience in network infrastructure design implementation and support including at least two 3 years in a supervisory or lead capacity over technical networking staff.
- or an equivalent combination of education training and experience may be considered.
- Valid Drivers license issued by the state of residency.
Work Location and Hours:
- 800 Broadway Cincinnati Oh. 45202
- 40 Hour Work Week generally between core hours of 7:305:30
