Effective January 1 2025 and in accordance with California Education Code Section 44939.5 all applicants for certificated positions must disclose a complete list of all Local Education Agencies (LEAs) where they have been previously employed including fulltime parttime or substitute roles. LEAs include school districts county offices of education charter schools and state special schools. Failure to provide this information may be considered an act of dishonesty and could affect hiring decisions.

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Career and Technical Education (CTE) Intro to Law teacher to join our innovative education team. The ideal candidate will have experience or coursework in law/public services and a commitment to engaging students through realworld applications and handson learning. As a CTE teacher you will inspire students to explore careers in law fostering critical thinking and practical skills under administrative direction. Join us in preparing the next generation of legal professionals!

Requirements / Qualifications
- Possession of a valid California CTE credential inPublic Services
OR
3 years of verifiable handson paid or unpaid work experience in Public Services(i.e. Court Reporter Paralegal Law Enforcement Fire Fighter Emergency Medical Tech. Emergency Response Dispatcher etc. and recency of one year in the last five years or two years within the last 10 years. (One year is equivalent to a minimum of 1000 clock hours)
AND
High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Copy of Transcript(s) (Please include BA/BS transcript along with all postBachelors degree transcripts. Unofficial copies will be accepted)
- Credential Copy If applicable (Copies of credentials must be current printouts of the credential document details page from the CTC website that shows the document term expiration date authorizations and renewal codes. Certificates will not be accepted.
- Letter of Introduction (Must be current and relative to the position you are applying to)
- Recommendation Letters (Three current letters dated within the last two years)
- Resume (Must include the last 10 years of work experience and related experience whether paid or unpaid)
Salary
$70160 to $101104 (To start yearly based on fulltime assignment. Parttime assignments will be prorated)
- Pay dependent on experience
- Candidates with two or more years of fulltime K12 public school experience start on step 3.
