Kikoffa rapidly growing consumer fintech startup is looking for a People Operations Specialist to help scale our team as we continue to help everyday Americans build their credit score. The team has grown sustainably to 120 and is poised for an exciting phase of further rapid growth and expansion.
As the People Operations Specialist youll be the backbone of our HR processes and systems owning areas such as onboarding payroll management and the performance cycle. Perhaps even more importantly youll have a critical role in our expansion journey and partner with hiring managers to craft a comprehensive onboarding experience to introduce new team members to our unique culture and ultimately both accelerate and increase their impact.
This isnt just about just processes and systems; its about creating an environment where our team can thrive and rise to the evergrowing challenges facing todays consumers. The ideal candidate for this position is not only versed in the technicalities of HR but is also analytical able to make decisions and recommendations driven by data over emotion and possesses a vision for cultivating a culture of growth inclusivity and innovation.

Note: You must be in the SF Bay Area comfortable coming into our FiDi office at least 3 days a week.
What Youll Do:
Hit the ground running by developing a mindblowing onboarding program that gets new hires fired up and ready to make their mark from day one.
Own and iterate on various HR processes including benefits administration leave management and employee recordkeeping.
Partner with managers and new hires to build out 306090 day plans and create a virtuous feedback cycle with our talent team.
Respond to employee inquiries and assist with basic HRrelated questions and requests.
Collect and organize employee feedback and engagement data to help identify areas for improvement.
Support additional People Operations processes as needed such as recruitment administration and HR reporting
What Youll Bring:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on providing great customer service to employees.
Basic understanding of HR practices and eagerness to learn more about people operations.
Ability to think critically and apply first principles thinking to identify when and why certain practices are most effective and when alternative approaches may be more suitable for our unique context.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the EQ to initiate and navigate hard conversations
A bachelors degree and at least 2 years of experience in the HR world with a track record of excelling in performance management and employee development goals.
An HR certification (PHR SPHR SHRMCP or SHRMSCP) or desire to obtain one within first year.

US salary range for this fulltime position consists of base equity benefits
Our salary ranges are determined by role and experience:
115k 160k base equity
