You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThis position provides oversight of and is responsible for the maintenance of agency aircraft used for the Department of Public Safety (DPS) and must possess knowledge of aircraft engines parts and systems including their designs uses repair and maintenance. This is generally accomplished through oversight of thirdparty vendorbased maintenance contracts and must have knowledge of the principles methods or tools for developing scheduling coordinating and managing projects and resources including monitoring and inspecting costs work and contractor performance. Also may perform routine aircraft maintenance tasks as needed.

This position is located and based out of our Fairbanks Aircraft Section. The work environment is friendly teamoriented and productive. COVER LETTER A current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certificated Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic with Inspectors Authorization (IA) List of three 3 professional references one of which is from a current or former direct supervisor. SPECIAL NOTICE Have a current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certificated Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic with Inspectors Authorization (IA). Be willing and able to work overtime. Occasionally needed after hours and weekends to respond to maintenance events. Be able to travels as needed often on short notice to respond to maintenance needs and vendor locations.
