About the Opportunity
Khoury College of Computer Sciences is looking for a Distinguished Research Fellow.
Responsibilities:
The Distinguished Research Fellow will be expected to startup their own research program. This will include applying for external funding developing project budget; interviewing hiring and managing all professional and technical staff. The appointee assumes full responsibility for the complete program of investigation. They will be expected to direct their own research program and serve on external program committees and make connections with industry government and nonprofit sectors.
Qualifications:
Must have a Ph.D. or equivalent; progressively more advanced research experience; demonstrated outstanding attainment in their area of computer science as reflected in the number of important publications inventions or equivalent efforts at least some of which have had recognition within the discipline; demonstrated project management experience including supervisory budgetary and general administrative skills. These will be one to twoyear appointments.
