Job Description

StFX is looking for their nextDirector of Facilities Managementwho will ensure that their campus remains an inspiring functional and sustainable space for learning research and collaboration.
In this role you will lead the strategic planning operations and maintenance of all university facilities while overseeing a team of more than 120 skilled trades custodial and service professionals. You will be responsible for managing multimilliondollar operating and capital budgets ensuring efficiency and sustainability and driving campus master planning and development to support the evolving needs of the academic community. Youll also champion sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives as StFX works towards their goal of netzero emissions. Collaboration is key and you will work closely with university leadership faculty and external partners to ensure the campus environment is built for the future.
Were looking for a leader with a bachelors degree in engineering and a . designation. You should bring at least seven to ten years of leadership experience in facilities management. A strategic mindset the ability to lead complex projects and expertise in facilities operations construction capital planning and sustainability will be key to your success. Just as important you should have a talent for building strong relationships across all levels of an organization working with partners to create the best possible campus environment.
