Your future duties and responsibilities:

Job Summary:
Responsible for the configuration administration and ongoing support of the Collibra platform. This includes ensuring the platform is utilized efficiently to meet the organizations data governance needs managing user roles and permissions monitoring the platforms performance and troubleshooting issues. The role involves working closely with various teams to ensure that data management policies are applied across the organization ensuring data quality security and compliance.
Collibra Platform Management:
oConfigure install and maintain the Collibra platform (including workflows business rules and metadata models).
oMonitor platform performance and implement optimization strategies as necessary.
oRegularly update the platform to ensure its running the latest version with all necessary patches.
User Access and Permissions:
oManage user roles permissions and access levels within the Collibra platform.
oEnsure compliance with security and privacy standards by controlling access to sensitive data.
oCollaborate with HR and IT departments to onboard and offboard users from the platform.
Data Governance & Quality:
oEnsure proper implementation of data governance frameworks within Collibra.
oAssist data stewards and business users in defining data governance policies including data definitions data lineage and metadata management.
oEnforce data quality rules and policies and track compliance.
Troubleshooting and Support:
oAct as the first line of support for issues related to the Collibra platform.
oCollaborate with technical teams to identify resolve and document issues.
oProvide enduser support and training on the platforms features.
Integration and Automation:
oCollaborate with IT teams to integrate Collibra with other enterprise systems (e.g. data lakes data warehouses business intelligence tools).
oAutomate workflows and business processes within Collibra to enhance operational efficiency.
Reporting and Analytics:
oGenerate and maintain reports to track data governance and quality metrics.
oProvide insights on platform usage compliance and governance effectiveness to stakeholders.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
oCollaborate with data stewards data owners business users and other key stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that Collibra is configured to meet business needs.
oAssist in the training and onboarding of new users to ensure effective use of the platform.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

oMinimum of 4years of experience in managing configuring and supporting Collibra or similar data governance tools.
oExperience in data governance data management and metadata management.
oStrong understanding of data governance frameworks data quality principles and metadata management.
Certifications (Preferred but not required):
oCollibra Certified Professional or similar certifications.
oITIL Foundation or other relevant IT service management certifications.
