Job Description

PSI Environmental Systems a Waste Connections company is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join the team at Twin Falls ID! Mechanics interested in secure steady employment are encouraged to apply. At least 1 year of experience doing maintenance on diesel trucks is preferred.

Scheduled Work Week: Monday Friday.

MonThurs: Swing Shift 2:00pm Until work is finished. (Generally 12hrs.

Friday: Early Start Day 9:00am Until work is finished. (Generally 8hrs.

Starting pay is $24 DOE.

Guaranteed Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hours a week!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel engines
  • Handles routine repairs including oil and tire changes along with minor and major repairs from A/C hydraulics electrical welding engine replacement transmissions etc.
  • Interprets diagnostic test results accurately
  • Writes detailed inspection reports and repair plans in our system
  • Collaborates with other diesel mechanics
  • Completes test drives to make sure the vehicle runs correctly
  • Uses power machine and hand tools safely
  • Communicate with drivers for issues in morning and afternoon
  • Reviews completes or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
  • Maintains a clean safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards
  • Follows all Waste Connections repair shop regulations and standards
