Job Summary
The Multiscale Computational Mechanics and Biomechanics Lab (MCMB Lab) at Drexel Universityis seeking for two immediate parttime Research Scientist positions to conduct research onmodeling fracture and healing phenomena in autonomous selfhealing concrete structures. Weare looking for motivated Research Scientist candidates with great communication skills who areinterested in computational damage/healing analysis to develop computational frameworks for: a) multiscale reducedorder fracture modeling of vascular cementitious composites b) modeling of stress corrosion cracking in steelreinforced concrete structures and c)coupled/uncoupled damagehealing modeling of selfhealing concretes.
The successful candidate will be part of a team including researchers and scientists withexperimental and numerical backgrounds from Drexel University.
