Physician Hematology/Oncology
Benefis Health System is a stateoftheart health system in a beautiful Montana community offering comprehensive health care to a large tertiary main Benefis Sletten Cancer Institute provides a truly progressive approach to preventing and diagnosing cancer and has been ACOS and NAPBC certified for almost 50 years. Our physicians and teams are invested in providing a proactive and caring approach to cancer care with robust resources and support at every turn. Benefis Sletten Cancer Institute includes:
- Physician focused cancer care with multidisciplinary teams including: 3 medical oncologists 2 radiation oncologists 3 oncology support APPs a dosimetrist a physicist therapists nursing 2 clinical supervisors nurse navigators social workers genetic counseling clinical research cancer registry financial advocacy and prior authorization teams
- 54000 square foot cancer treatment facility just finished a brand new remodel complete with an indoor healing atrium a lazy river and soothing waterfallmassive fireplace meditation room and a brandnew teaching kitchen.
- Onsite lab pharmacy PET CT CT and xray
- Dedicated housing facility for our patients and their caregivers to stay at no cost some patients drive 57 hours to receive care at our facility due to our reputation
The Great Falls Oncology Clinic includes:
- 4000 square feet infusion center with 36 chemo chairs and semiprivate and private infusion rooms to assure the highest patient experience possible
- Onsite infusion supervising nurse oncology certified pharmacy clinical research and clinical trial departments and great support staff
- Wellattended multidisciplinary tumor board meeting twice a week
- Procedure rooms capable of performing bone marrow procedures
- Main hospital can be accessed from the cancer center through an indoor tunnel connection for easy access to consults rounding or inpatient transfers
- Opportunity for telehealth visits outreach and cancer events in the community
- Friendly appreciative patient population serving a catchment population of 275000 in Northcentral Montana
