As a Mechanical Assembler III Dry Chemical Generator you will be at the forefront of complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly testing and fabrication operations. You will take on a diverse range of tasks ensuring precision and efficiency in both standard and nonstandard environments. Your expertise will drive the continuous flow of work ensuring highquality production and adherence to safety and performance standards.
*4x10 Shift Monday Thursday 5:00 am 3:30 pm with possible required overtime*
This position includes a $3500 Sign On Bonus for new employees.
What You Will Do:
- Read interpret and follow blueprints diagrams engineering drawings specifications bills of materials and other written instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
- Operate hand tools electrical tools hand cutters measuring equipment and light equipment efficiently to perform assembly tasks.
- Maintain inventory of product in assigned workstations ensuring materials are readily available for ongoing operations.
- Perform quality work checks identify product defects and accurately record identified defects for corrective action.
- Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products based on engineering specification changes to meet quality standards.
- Adhere to all quality standards and established safety procedures ensuring compliance and a high standard of work.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area promoting efficiency and safety.
- Lift up to 25 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation ensuring safe material handling.
- Work in a standing position for up to 10 hours per day contributing to continuous workflow.
- Be open to international travel for required training expanding your expertise and ensuring operational excellence.
Qualification You Must Have:
- HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED 4 years of relevant experience is required.
