We have exciting opportunity for Emergency Medicine Registrar to join a busy and diverse Emergency Department in one of Tasmanias premier healthcare facilities.

About the Role:

As an Emergency Medicine Registrar you will play a key role in providing emergency care to patients presenting at our stateoftheart Emergency Department located in the vibrant waterfront city of Hobart.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Provide highquality care in a fastpaced tertiarylevel ED setting.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic environment including paediatric cases and complex trauma.
  • Participate in structured education and training including regular clinical updates and access to a range of internal rotations.
  • Contribute to a variety of research and clinical projects enhancing your professional skills and academic interests.

The Emergency Department:

This is a highvolume department treating over 75000 patients annually with a wide range of presentations. The department is supported by a robust team of allied health professionals and offers the opportunity to gain additional qualifications in Emergency Medicine including:

  • Emergency Medicine Certificate
  • Intermediate and Advanced Emergency Medicine Training Programs
  • Skills Training for GP and Rural Generalist Trainees

On offer are also dedicated rotations and exposure to critical care specialties including ICU Anaesthetics Paediatrics and more.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking junior and senior registrars (ACEM Trainees and NonTrainees) who are passionate about emergency medicine and committed to providing highquality care.
