Job Description
Position Description: TheMedical College of WisconsinsDepartment of Surgery Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgeryis seeking aNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto provide primary or specialty medical care within defined scope of practice under the supervision of a licensed physician and in accordance with MCW/FMLH/CHW policies and procedures. Located inMenomonee Falls WI at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital. TheAdvanced Practice Provider(APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration patient care patient safety research quality improvement and teaching. Position Requirements: Preferred Experience:Prior Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant acute care experience. Minimum Education: Advanced Practice Nurse:Masters Degree or higher in Nursing Minimum Requirements:*or eligible Advanced Practice Nurse Physician Assistant Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Wisconsin Physician Assistant License Wisconsin RN License Certification by NCCPA Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License AHA ACLS AHA BLS DEA AHA ACLS AHA BLS DEA CITI Certification to be completed within 90 days of hire Certification as Acute Care NP preferred
Physician Assistant:Bachelors Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies
