Job Description
We are looking for a Part Time Nursery Assistant working 20hours a week(experience within an Early Years setting desirable to join our newly expanded Nursery at Burton Latimer Northamptonshire.
The nursery is on a halfacre site adjacent to the football club and sports field; it is purposebuilt with large and airy rooms and underfloor heating. The nursery offers light spacious rooms and an extensive outdoor play area for both our Acorns (under 2s) and our Squirrels and Oaks (over 2s).Outdoor play is a key aspect of Acorns ethos and the children benefit from spending time outdoors every day whatever the weather. Preschool children enjoy Forest School sessions in an area of the garden and also further afield with our inhouse Forest School leader Carly.
The hours will be working between the hours ofworking 17.5hours per week Monday to Friday all year round

The ideal candidate will be passionate motivated and enthusiasticabout outdoor learning and creative play as well as a good working knowledge and practice of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
Successful applicants must be able to provide right to work in the UK documentation provide two satisfactory references and undertake an enhanced DBS check prior commencing employment.
The role will be covering lunches for staff and monitoring and helping serve childrens lunches and clear up afterwards. As well as helping with childrens activities.
