SUMMARY
We are seeking a Software Engineer to work as part of a team developing new and integrating existing technologies for a government customer. Under the direction of the platform team lead this individual will have a variety of responsibilities across operations and infrastructure. This position is designed for individuals who have multiple years of development experience with a strong background in automated deployments containerization and monitoring. The primary duties of this role are to write infrastructure as code implement and monitor systems. Experience with cloud environments and containerization is absolutely required.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design infrastructure that is secure scalable and resilient
- Work with other software engineers to define requirements and infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with configuration management tools and cybersecurity policies
- Troubleshoot issues across various cloud and onpremises environments
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree in IT Computer Science/Engineering or related field
- In lieu of formal degree 5 years of related experience listed in the above bullet
- Experience with Containers and Container Orchestration (Docker Kubernetes)
- Experience with Linux Bash
- Experience with Python and ObjectOriented Programming
- Experience with SOLID
- Experience with various RDBMS and NoSQL Databases
- Experience with Openstack AWS
- Must have a recently current or be eligible for a DoD Top Secret clearance
- This position will be local to the Tampa FL area and you will be required to be onsite on request of the manager and your supervisor.
