Job Description

Looking for a summer jobShaw JCC is gearing up for summer!

We are accepting applications for seasonal staff for our outside pool. We are looking for staff to work as a Pool Gate Attendant during the summer months (May 2025 through Labor Day 2025. The Pool Gate Attendant will greet members and guests and check memberships and passes at the pool entrance. Ideal candidate will be flexible with their schedule and able to work days evenings weekends and holidays.


Other responsibilities include:

Continually practice situational awareness

Be well versed and trained in emergency procedures.

Verify membership and sell guest passes.

Promote center programs and events.

Attending mandatory inservice training.

Requirements

Skills:

Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Good math skills.

Excellent social and problemsolving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional manner (polite positive and enthusiastic)


Education/Qualifications/Experience:

High school graduate or older.

Flexible schedule (available to work all shifts days evenings weekends and holidays).

Experience working with the public.

Previous customer service sales or related experience preferred.

Basic knowledge of computers
