Job Description

As part of the Energy & Sustainable Cities Business Line the Nuclear Service Line has conducted major and complex engineering and construction management project for the main nuclear stakeholders around the world.

Our expertise has been continuously enriched by the lessonlearnt from 70 years of operations in the nuclear sector especially in the past 10 years through innovative complex projects shaping the renewal of the Nuclear Industry.

In fact providing our clients with worldclass local and international expertise including the most advanced methods for design construction and operations is the DNA of Egis Nuclear Service Line.

The Nuclear Market Director is responsible for leading the Service Lines commercial activities within Canada aligned to the Global Service Line & Regional Business Line Director strategic plan delivered through the local organization. This includes development & implementation of the Nuclear Service Lines Strategy and Business Plan within Canada as well as Order Intake Targets new services development and conversion to operations.

The position is a key element in connecting Egis Canada & its clients to the Global Service Line; and conversely connect the Global Service Line with Egis Canada & its specific local market dynamics.

Reporting directly to Canada Chief Commercial Officer the Nuclear Market Director will collaborate with the Canada Energy Service Line Director and operational staff Canada Commercial Team (including Marketing and Tender Unit) as well as with Canada Finance Team.

  • Establish the Business Plan for Nuclear in Canada with a stepbystep implementation.
  • Implement a GoToMarket Strategy based on the Business Plan together with a detailed Commercial Action Plan.
  • Coordinate and deliver the related Business Development activities.
  • Evaluate and plan for current and future market conditions.
  • Align the strategy to take advantage of any changes or opportunities industry trends & break through innovations.
  • Complete a commercial and competitiveness analysis (technical & financial) with regards to the identified activities.
  • Plan & implement effective strategic marketing campaigns following both Global Nuclear Service Line marketing strategies & local marketing strategies.
  • Deliver all activities as part of the Commercial Process from opportunity identification business development prepositioning proposal coordination interview to contract negotiation.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of nuclear projects with other company initiatives and ensure Quality and Client Satisfaction.
  • Establish strong relationship with Nuclear Key Accounts and deliver a Key Account Management approach as soon as account presents enough business opportunities.
  • It is required from the Nuclear Market Director to have professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; as well as the ability to interact with clients deliver clear commercial and technical presentations participate to committees present and panel at conferences and events to promote Egis Nuclear Services and its addedvalue assisting in the business growth and increase market brand awareness.

Qualifications :

  • Deep understanding of Canada Nuclear Industry.
  • Minimum 15 years experience in Nuclear.
  • Strategic mindset and proven commercial trackrecord.
  • Criticalminded and skill in examining tenders market conditions and operational requirements.
  • Knowledge of contracting negotiating and change management.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and private / public clients.
  • Ability to maintain relationships at all levels delivering a strong Key Account Management.
  • Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations.
  • High industry profile by having extended network participated to relevant events and being involvement on committees.
