While this is a fullyremote position individuals must reside within the state of Iowa.
MUST HAVES Required Qualifications
- Completed or inprogress Masters degree in social work mental health counseling marriageand family therapy or psychology.
- Current license (LISW LMFT LMHC LMSW) to practice in the State of Iowa or a temporary license with the intent to seek independent licensure.
- One 1 year of experience in individual group and family therapy.
- Two 2 years required for independently licensed therapists.
- Formal training in the field of behavioral health.
- General understanding of the issues facing atrisk youth and their families.
- Excellent observational listening verbal and writing skills and fluency in English.
SHOULD HAVES Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and training in the identification and treatment of behavioral health disorders .
- Two 2 years of experience working with children and families.
- Knowledge of principles methods and procedures for diagnosis treatment and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions and for career counseling and guidance.
- Proficient with the majority of Microsoft Office applications and basic database use.
- History of working with youth and families.

- Has a positive teambased approach to treatment and working with clients.
- Is compassionatepatient and empathetic with the ability to relate to diverse populations.
- Can engage youth and establish rapport in creative ways.
- Speaks a language(s) in addition to English.
