About The Position:
Regularly write and updateevergreen travelrelated product roundups and reviews for Travel Leisure maintaining highquality standards along the way
Find and interview expert sources to provide background information and quotes for our lists and reviews
Research and write supplemental content like factors to consider pros/cons FAQs and more
Use SEO tools knowledge of the brand competitor research and market research to identify content improvements or adjustments
Research new products models and trends to make sure were making the best recommendations to our readers
Assist in our testing process whether evaluating and photographing products at home writing up results attending lab testing days or gathering insights from testers or experts
Contribute news and deals content during tentpole events and as needed

Education:
College degree or equivalent experience required
Experience:
23 years writing experience at an online publisher ideally in the travel space
Specific Knowledge Skills Certifications and Abilities:
Knowledge of the travel space and enthusiasm for shopping and finding the best products out there to enhance a trip
Detailoriented and deadlinefocused with solid writing skills as well as a basic understanding of what works on the web
Strong writer knowledge of AP style capable of creating engaging lively headlines and blurbs all the while keeping the Travel Leisure voice values and style in mind experience with SEO
Selfstarter who can pivot seamlessly as new initiatives and directives are identified

Salary: New York: 64350.00 $73000.00The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location experience and performance.
