Supply Chain Innovation (SCI) Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) is seeking an experienced candidate to identify create develop and integrate innovative solutions and programs that lead to improvements in our warehousing and distribution network. This position will lead the development and of new logistics initiatives designed to improve overall efficiency and meet the evergrowing demand for storage of bulk inventory in our strategically located distribution centers. The successful candidate will have strong data mining and modeling skills and is comfortable facilitating ideas and working from concept through to .
Key job responsibilities
Retrieving and analyzing data using Excel SQL Access and other data management systems
Writing high quality SQL codes to retrieve and analyze data
Monitoring existent metrics analyzing data and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities
Designing and implementing reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions
Manage complex calendars and scheduling with diplomacy and discretion manage domestic travel expense report coordination and submission and organize execute and assist with team activities
Drive small to medium operational enhancement projects
Excellent problemsolving task prioritization followup and customer service skills
**This role may be required to work nights weekends and holidays**
Bachelors degree in Business STEM Operations Finance or related field
Experience in a business analyst data analyst or statistical analysis role
Experience with Tableau AWS QuickSight Power BI or other data visualizations software
Experience with Excel Access SQL Perl R Python or other scripting languages
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical/IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc.
Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
1 years of program management logistics operations supply chain transportation or equivalent experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Degree in Engineering Operations Logistics or related field
3 years of experience using scripting languages such as Python and R
Experience in modeling and analyzing complex logistics networks
Advanced SQL skills
Experience communicating across all levels of management peers and clients
