Amazon UK Fresh Stores are the first convenience grocery store to offer Just Walk Out Technology in the UK. Our checkoutfree shopping experience is made possible by our Just Walk Out (JWO) Technology which automatically detects when products are taken from or returned to the shelves and keeps track of them in a virtual cart. When youre done shopping you can just leave the store. Shortly after well charge your Amazon account and send you a receipt. Innovation is part of our DNA! We are looking for an exceptionally motivated and talented Program Manager with a strong customer focus who want to join an ambitious innovative and customer obsessed program.

As a Program Manager you will be the glue bringing together crossfunctional teams and external partners to realize the customercentric work Amazon is known for.

Everyone on our team needs to be entrepreneurial wear many hats and work effectively in a highly collaborative startup environment. Our ideal candidate works back from the customer facilitating largescale multiplatform initiatives from conception through implementation. You expertly manage stakeholder expectations due dates and assets because insisting on the highest standards is in your DNA and because an amazing product is made of those small details. You can balance features documentation and process with bias for action. And you have a proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results through indirect influence. This role can be located in London UK or Manchester UK.

The successful Program Manager will be able to:
Influence multiple crossfunctional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines. You are the centre and glue of the program and can easily work with everyone from designers tech developers product managers stakeholders and external resources to achieve results.
Understand the needs of a customer in a physical environment and the Associates who are the face of our business to customers.
Think strategically and execute methodically.
Bring superior program management skills and ability to assess and integrate new information and requirements into plans and schedules seamlessly.
Build maintain and continuously improve consistent tools mechanisms processes standards and playbooks to enable of important deliverables.
Highlight and appropriately escalate any bottlenecks that block progress while proposing potential solutions to enable rapid decision making.
Earn trust and credibility with stakeholders management peers and executives.
Provide regular precise and effective status updates on key programs processes and metrics.
Work in a fastpaced environment where continuous innovation is desired.

You will need to have experience in building project plans managing critical paths and engaging with stakeholders across matrix organisations. Experience of using Asana Smartsheet and Amazon mechanisms such as doc writing is preferred.

No two projects are the same. Recognising the most appropriate project management framework and tools for each project.

You will manage multiple projects and critical paths concurrently. You will provide business updates via doc writing in WBR/MBR/QBR and own or participate in writing PRFAQ and flashes.

This person will be a strategic team member responsible for identifying new types of bad actor risk defining policies and procedures that detect and eliminate opportunities that create shrink. An enthusiasm for simplifying processes and using data in decisionmaking and prioritization are key. Candidates must demonstrate strong judgment skills and have experience managing complex projects. This individual excels at working collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and executive leaders understands the importance of effective communication and can consistently deliver results.



A day in the life
Partnering with Buyer Risk Prevention (BRP) and product teams to analyse payment failures and introducing mechanisms to continuously reduce bad debt for the business
Analysis of concession (refund) metrics developing mechanisms to reduce abuse in this area
Partnering with stakeholder in Loss Prevention and Store Operations to develop mechanisms to measure and eliminate instore theft

Experience working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience in program or project management
Experience defining and executing program requirements

Experience leading process improvements
Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes project management and schedules
Experience in driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
