We need2 skilled Arborists to join our dedicated Tree Services team managing trees across the citys Highways Parks Housing Land and more.

About the Role: As an Arborist at Nottingham City Council you will:

Perform tree surgery including crown lifting dead wooding crown reductions and tree felling
Operate and maintain arboricultural equipment and power tools safely
Follow health and safety procedures and conduct risk assessments
Engage with the public in a professional and courteous manner
Contribute to the Urban Forest Strategy and citywide tree services

Key Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years experience in arboriculture
Valid CS30 CS31 CS38 CS39 and CS41 or equivalent qualifications
Pre1997 driving licence or Category C1E driving licence
Expertise in arboricultural equipment and safety procedures
Strong communication skills in challenging situations

Desirable Qualifications:

NPTC or equivalent Lantra qualifications
Experience with windblown trees and emergency treework
Large Goods Vehicle Licence and CPC Trained
New Roads and Streetworks Act (NRSWA) Qualification
