OB Triage Clinic Nurse
The OB Triage Clinic Nurse provides direct nursing care to pregnant patients in an ambulatorybased triage setting. They assess triage and provide interventions for pregnant women who are experiencing concerns such as preterm labor labor onset bleeding highrisk pregnancy symptoms or fetal monitoring issues. The OB Triage Nurse plays a critical role in the initial evaluation and management of obstetric patients ensuring a timely safe and effective plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four year college degree program in Nursing; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in Nursing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The position also requires possession of a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan. May require a Bachelors degree in Nursing and/or work experience in a particular area of nursing or health care.

Work hours are typically 8:00 AM 5:00 PM but may vary as necessary to accommodate clinic operations.

The job requires significant physical effort and involves lifting and maneuvering patients extensive walking and standing and fine manual dexterity 2675 of the time; visual and aural acuity necessary to monitor patient care.
Exposure to human blood serum and other body fluids; and materials covered under Universal Precautions; TB risk or work within three 3 feet of patients in a health care setting; wear a respirator.
