Job Description

Based in the heart of Chester City Centre Abbey School is an Independent Special School for young people with autism aged 419 years whom may have additional learning difficulties and behaviours that challenge.

This role is maternity leave cover with a fixed term contract starting in September 2025 until May 2026 with the possibility of covering up to one year.

We will be hosting a tour of the School for individuals who are interested in applying for our Teacher role at 4pm on:

  • Wednesday 2ndApril

Due to the continued growth and success for Abbey School we are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic teachers to join our team. From Early Years Foundation Stage to Key Stage 3 we have opportunities for educators eager to support the next generation.

Salary:Main Pay Scale 1 SEN Point

Opportunities available:EYFS all the way through to KS3
