Job Description
Do you enjoy breaking down and solving complex problems for the benefit of a quickly expanding customer base focusing first on our customer and working backwards If so the AMXL Product Strategy team is looking for an experienced leader with a strong record of innovating in uncharted territory to make stepchange improvements in selection cost sustainability and CX. This role will work with partners across the WW AMXL vertical Retail org and partner tech orgs to deliver worldwide solutions that unlock new selection or optimize for the growth of existing Heavy Bulky selection.
Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with Retail Finance Operations and Tech partners to define and optimize supply chain and operating models for Heavy Bulky (HB) products.
Form and lead crossfunctional project teams to plan organize manage and execute complex tech initiatives across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
Develop and communicate the global vision for key HB product selections across AMXL marketplaces aligning with techenabled growth strategies.
Identify opportunities and lead initiatives to leverage technology in optimizing the supply chain for improved customer experience and operational efficiency.
Create comprehensive strategy documents and presentations that clearly articulate the vision roadmap and expected outcomes to senior leadership.
Define and prioritize requirements for tech solutions to improve availability and speed for our customers.
Stay current with emerging technologies and market trends identifying opportunities to apply them to HB product growth and customer experience enhancement.
Up to 10 travel required.
A day in the life
A Day in the Life of an AMXL Senior Product Manager Tech will include:
Leading crossfunctional meetings with Operations Transportation and Tech teams to gather requirements and align on solutions for complex delivery challenges
Analyzing operational metrics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for technological improvements using datadriven insights to prioritize product features that enhance delivery success rates and customer satisfaction
Parntering with ML/AI teams to develop and refine prediction models for delivery times taking into account unique variables like item size building access and delivery complexity
Driving weekly product review meeting with senior leadership presenting progress on key initiatives and gathering feedback on proposed roadmap changes
Partnering with your fellow Sr. Product Managers and Sr. Product Managers Tech in the AMXL Product Strategy team to innovate on behalf of the entire AMXL endtoend business building features making Heavy Bulky purchases more seamless for our customers.
Bachelors degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science engineering statistics
5 years of technical product or program management experience
Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements prioritize incoming work requests and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executivelevel prioritization and planning
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Masters degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science engineering statistics
7 years of technical product or program management experience
Experience in an operational environment developing fastprototyping piloting and launching analytic products
Experience in using analytical tools such as Tableau Qlikview QuickSight
Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL Excel and other tools
Experience with concepts such as system architecture optimization system dynamics system analysis statistical analysis reliability analysis and decision making

The base pay for this position ranges from $136100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
