Job Summary:Injects radioisotopes & images patients. Provides diagnostic images to physicians. Venipuncture. Transfers patients. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities:Protects visual & other access to patient specific & other confidential information from public viewincluding computer &/or shreds patient specific or other confidential information as per are never disclosed & computers are locked when not in read back of verbal orders/critical lab values & can state procedure to clarify physician standing orders when chart audits appropriately & in EHR review if calls report to MD as warranted by condition reports to others as sentinel events or adverse drug reactions or incidents as only approved patient safety goals & actions to manager potential infectious diseases that may/may not compromise patient or team member health. Washes hands when soiled or 2 patient identifiers before giving treatments illustrates final verification before invasive procedures can verbalize correct process & documents in patient in response to changes in condition after intervention & as needed documents in treatments as ordered in a timely & appropriate manner documents in education to patients & family documents in awareness of patient the spiritual aspects of patient care & can give examples of respect & dignity when dealing with death & ethics committee if needed or is aware it education completed on time; attends seminars hands on training & continuing education as to utilize EHR computerized scheduling filing & MMH policies including proper phone etiquette dress code badge wearing & personal ready room properly stocked supplies ready equipment warmed up checked & diagnostic nuclear scans per NRC standards Dexa & venipuncture. Required Skills/Abilities:Strong customer service skills communicates well with to problem solve & to operate applicable hospital equipment. Education and Experience:Associates degree or equivalent majoring in Nuclear Medicine RadiologyRegistered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist NMTCB by the ARRT; CPR certifiedMinimum 1 year relevant work Requirements:Frequent walking standing pushing pulling stooping kneeling reaching talking & use of handsAble to frequently lift over 50 lbs
