Summary of Position
A TBB122 Barista is responsible for providing legendary hospitality and service to allGuests at the bar at all times. This position is primarily responsible for greeting theGuests at the bar delivering recommendations and advice to the Guest regarding ourmenu accurately taking and inputting the Guest orders maintaining the Guest spaceadequately processing payment for the Guest and concluding the Guest visit Barista can also be responsible for making bar drinks as well. The Barista also isresponsible for preparing beverages for the Servers quickly and with the same serviceas they would give to a Guest.
The Barista must continually develop and improve their menu knowledge and servicetechniques. The Baristas must actively participate in preshift meetings and othertraining sessions. The Barista must be a team player helping wherever and wheneverneeded to ensure that all Guests receive legendary hospitality. Finally the Barista isrequired to maintain a positive respectful and courteous attitude towards all Gueststeam members and Managers at all times.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Present food and beverage itemsquickly and accurately with propergarnish to all Guests at all times.
Develop a thorough understanding ofall menu items including dailyspecials improve that knowledgewhenever possible and strive to sharethat knowledge as required by theGuest.
Retrieve Service Bar Orders andprepare the beverages as quicklyand accurately as possible. Ensurethat all drinks are prepared andgarnished according to TBB122specifications at all times.
Ensure that all Guests feel welcomeand are given responsive friendlyand courteous service at all times.
Personally recognize and greet byname the regular patrons of our bar.
Execute the TBB122 Steps of Servicefor all Guests at the bar.
Understand and uphold all TBB122policies regarding Guest hospitalityand safety includingAlcohol consumption allergies sanitationetc.
Respond immediately andappropriately to any situation wherethe Guest perceives less thanlegendary service or hospitalityincluding involving a manager.
Provide warm friendly and efficientservice and hospitality so that we aresure that the Guest will return.
As quickly and accurately as possiblerecord Guest orders at the bar andinput them in the POS system.
Maintain bottles and glasses in anattractive and functional manner tosupport efficient drink preparation.
Continue to develop Salesmanshiptechniques
Accurately prepare cashouts andother endofshift reports.
Clock in and out accurately accordingto your posted schedule.
Properly enter all drinks ordered byGuests into the POS system beforeserving and track waste breakage
and spills properly.
Keep waste to a minimum by accurately inputting orders in the POSsystem garnishing all food andbeverages correctly and preparingfood items accurately during side workby following recipes and prep listscarefully.
Use proper measuring tools whenpreparing Guest beverages or drinkrecipes at all times.
Carry stack store and clean platesglassware and utensils unnecessary breakage anddo.
not carelessly throw small wares inthe trash.
Maintain a clean bar and floor andaddress spills immediately.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
At least 1 years of experience as a Barista in a table service restaurant
Must be fluent in English
Must have good working knowledge of coffee and common drink recipes
Must possess good basic math skills the ability to write Guest orders accurately anrate a POS system effectively
Must be able to work effectively in a fastpacedsetting while walking or standing for upto 12 hours per day
