Reconciliation Information Specialist is responsible forensuring the completeness accuracy and integrity of critical informationrelated to name address dates and other vital statistics. They will reviewmultiple data fields identify discrepancies and perform data entry with astrong focus on attention to detail.
Description of Duties:
Review multiple data fields including name address dateand other critical information for completeness and accuracy
Responsible for data entry of reconciled and reviewedcritical information listed above and other vital statistics
Reconcile discrepancies between multiple record sources
Utilize superior attention to detail to identify variancesin location records including ownership dates and transfers
Physically retrieve records from various locations(vaults shelves file cabinets attics basements etc. to perform dailytasks
Assists with quality assurance and some analysis of Excelspreadsheets
Assist with property verification walks with the location maintenancerepresentative
Perform quality reviews of completed reconciliation work
Manages workload and provides summary reports tomanagement when necessary
Works with group leadership to complete highpriorityprojects and interacts with other corporate departments to manage data flow anddeadlines
Identifies opportunities to streamline tasks associatedwith daily work functions
Adapt to changing work requirements and environment asneeded
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree inBusiness Accounting or Finance or relevant field of study preferred
A minimum of 2 years applicable work experience in arearequiring strong attention to detail (e.g. experience auditing contracts andfinancial records)
*Lean experience a plus
Strong problemsolving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
Highly detailoriented with a careful eye for qualitycontrol and presentation of work
Occasional travel (up to 30 as required
Selfmotivated and driven to produce results within tightdeadlines and with maximum quality within allowed time constraints
Strong verbal communication skills; ability to articulateproject status as needed
Knowledge of Funeral and/or Cemetery field operations
Intermediate Excel skills (complex formulas pivottablesvlookups and other intermediate functions)
