Working is the Indigenous Strategy and Engagement Unit (ISU) the Manager Projects (Indigenous Advancement) is a critical team member responsible for providing holistic support across all levels of the University. The ISU provides oversight of the Healing and Recognition Track (HART) plan and management of its deliverables. The Unit leads and delivers the Countrycentered curriculum transformation and cultural immersion programs and goes further to build a conscious community through tailored support in curriculum development strategy/policy business processes research community engagement and troubleshooting emerging issues.
The Manager Projects is responsible for driving reporting and reviewing plans initiatives and a program of works which illuminates the Universitys commitment to an accountable transparent way forward to progress the outcomes for and with our Indigenous staff students communities and partners.
This position will require previous experience developing and managing organisational strategic plans Reconciliation Action Plans or whole of organisation change projects. You will have the ability to prioritise tasks meet deadlines and work effectively to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience is required along with excellent communication negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
