Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Associate to join the UK Investment Banking team in London. As an Associate you will play a key role in executing M&A equity and debt transactions for UK corporate clients across multiple sectors. You will work closely with senior bankers analysts and product teams globally providing critical insights and strategic advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction : Manage all aspects of deal including financial modeling valuation analysis due diligence preparation of pitch materials and deal documentation.
- Client Interaction: Serve as a key point of contact for clients during transactions fostering strong relationships and providing regular updates.
- Financial Analysis: Develop and review complex financial models to support transaction decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Market and Industry Research: Conduct indepth market industry and company research to identify trends risks and opportunities.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to analysts fostering their professional development and ensuring highquality work output.
- Strategic Advisory: Support senior bankers in providing strategic advice to clients including growth strategies capital allocation and market positioning.
- Coordination: Liaise with internal stakeholders including product specialists (Debt Capital Markets Equity Capital Markets Leveraged Finance) legal counsel and compliance teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: 35 years of relevant experience in investment banking corporate finance private equity or management consulting.
- Education: Bachelors degree in finance economics business or a related field. An MBA or CFA qualification is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling valuation (DCF precedent transactions and comparables) and analytical skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Client Focus: A clientcentric mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
