Responsibilities

  • Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs such as personal hygiene dressing bathing and other daily tasks.

  • Perform basic health care services for clients including checking vital signs or providing medication reminders.

  • Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors appointments walks etc.

  • Plan and prepare meals

  • Assist with range of motion/physical therapy exercises

  • Accompany Clients on errands such as grocery shopping picking up prescribed medications and/or doctor appointments. Provide transportation as needed

  • Help with general light housekeeping including changing the bedsheets laundry taking out the trash etc.

  • Observe and report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

  • Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers nurses doctors and family members.

  • Stay uptodate with home health aide training policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Enjoy working oneonone eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.

  • Previous experience as a home health aide inhome caregiver CNA or another medical professionalin the healthcare field (Min of 12 yrs)

  • Ability to pass a SLED background check and PreEmployment Drug Screen
  • Have or be willing to have a TB test or Chest Xray
  • Valid drivers license and own reliable transportation every single day

  • Ability to think and work both independently and with direction

  • Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner

  • Take pride in providing highquality care

  • Hoyer Lift Experience Feeding Tube Colostomy/Catheter Care Bowel Program(not required specific to client)

Job Types: Fulltime Parttime PRN

Pay: $10.00 $13.00 per hour

Shift Availability:

  • Afternoon Shift 2pm7:30pm)
