As a Water Network Technician Apprentice within our clean water business youll be at the heart of this purposeensuring the reliable delivery of 1100 million litres of clean drinking water every day. What Will You Do
As a Water Network Technician Apprentice youll:
Ensure clean water is delivered to local homes and businesses.
Be a friendly approachable representative of Anglian Water and delivering exceptional customer service.
Take on diverse challenges daily including:
Identify and repairing leaks in the water network.
Upgrade water supply systems to ensure reliability.
Respond to emergencies such as burst pipes or flooding.
Make a positive impact in the community by solving problems and helping customers.
Prepare for a critical 24/7 standby role after qualification highlighting the essential nature of your work.
Seize the opportunity to contribute to the safe and reliable delivery of water to thousands.
What Are We Looking For
A passion for problemsolving and sustainability.
GCSEs (Grade AC or 94 in Maths English and Science) or Level 2 Functional Skills. (please note that predicted grades will be accepted if you have not yet completed your exams)
A willingness to work outdoors and take on challenges
A growth mindset and a drive to explore learn and contribute to a greater purpose.
Whetheryou are new to the industry or considering a career changeour programs aredesigned to support and develop all.
Your learning Journey
Your time will be split between classroom and onthejob learning. Youll attend college in Peterborough one week each month and the remaining time will be spent on the job learning applying your learning and gaining handson experience. Your learning journey will also be supported with a minimum of 6 hours per week of offthejob training. This course usually takes 24 months to complete. (Travel costs to/from college will be covered in line with our expenses reimbursement policy).
