The Team Leader Electrical Engineering leads the development of cuttingedge vetronics products for DoD applications. This position will manage inhouse engineers and contract support across areas such as mixedsignal analog/digital design FPGA/microcontroller development and full system integration. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams in electrical mechanical firmware and software engineering as well as program tech leads managers and engineering directors.
Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership Design & Development:
Lead the electrical engineering team in new product development to meet customer requirements and company objectives.
Support the definition of hardware architectures ensuring alignment with functional requirements design reuse manufacturability and testability.
Oversee design analysis and testing ensuring compliance with MIL standards (e.g. MILSTDand meeting ruggedization EMI/EMC and power requirements.
Manage the development of highquality documentation packages including schematics parts lists test plans qualification reports and technical manuals.
Guide hardware/software integration and acceptance testing providing oversight and feedback on deliverables.
Engage in handson design troubleshooting and problemsolving as needed in areas of expertise.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Mentorship & Project Support:
Mentor and develop the electrical engineering team to enhance skills and maintain high performance.
Collaborate with tech leads program managers and principal investigators on task assignments budget allocation and project planning.
Provide technical insight planning and progress updates to stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
B.S. or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
8 years of experience in analog/digital circuit design and embedded electronics firmware development.
2 years of management experience preferred.
Strong handson experience in designing and troubleshooting microcontroller and FPGAbased systems.
Proficiency in ECAD tools (preferably Altium) and generating fabrication/assembly drawings.
Experience with environmental and EMI/EMC qualification testing per MIL standards.
Strong analytical problemsolving and systems engineering skills.
People & Communication Skills:
Collaborative and adaptable able to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to customers program managers and technical teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Nice To Haves:
Experience with SBIR programs and transitioning technologies from prototype to production.
Familiarity with military vehicle integration qualification testing and field support.
Experience in developing/managing CONOPs system design architecture and requirements.

Pay Range:
$160000$195000 However base salary for this position will vary based on your skills qualifications and experience.
