Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking Nurse Practitioners (NP) to join our team at VA Medical Center in Olathe Kansas in a fulltime or locum tenens capacity.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Currently registered with the Kansas State Board of Nursing
- Must have at least one year of experience in an area of placement within the past year
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsibilities:
- Perform independent assessments diagnosis and treatment of all illnesses and trauma
- Manage chronic health problems
- Perform physical exams administer indicated immunizations prescribe medications and provide counsel and guidance to patients
- Order and interpret lab tests Xrays electrocardiograms etc.
