Job Summary:
The Captain is charged with leading the assigned aircraft flight crew maintaining proficiency and competence as a required crewmember on the assigned aircraft; ensuring that all flights are conducted in accordance with established company policies and the Federal Aviation Regulations. Additionally the oversee the First Officer in all flight duties and provide service and support to all passengers and clients.
Core Schedule:
- 17 scheduled duty days per month.
- Optional OT days may be offered beyond scheduled duty days for additional premium pay.
- P91 Owner trips may occur outside of the 17 scheduled duty days and will not be eligible for OT pay.
- Optional 8 / 6 Schedule Rotation available for P135 assigned aircraft.
Day in the Life:
- Conducts aircraft operations and related job assignments in accordance with policies established in the Flight Operations Manual and Company Manuals.
- Ensures all flight aircraft and passenger records are completed in a neat timely and accurate fashion. See Preflight.
- Supervises other crewmembers in the performance of their duties.
- Ensures compliance with flight/duty time limitations and rest periods in accordance with established policies.
- Must have completed initial or recurrent training phases in the preceding 12 months.
- Maintenance current 1st class medical certification.
- Reviews Flight/Maintenance Log Form MF9/MR10 (MR9 or MR10 as applicable) to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft and coordinates with appropriate maintenance personnel for the accomplishment of any required maintenance.
- Ensures the preflight postflight and routine servicing of the aircraft is accomplished in accordance with established policies.
- Coordinates client request for itinerary changes with the Operations Control Center.
- Performs the duties of Ground and Inflight Security Coordinators in accordance with 40 CFR 1544.215(bc).
- Ensures appropriate manuals charts and equipment are current and on board the aircraft.
- Ensures that crewmembers and passengers have valid passports immunizations visas and clearances appropriate to clear customs immunizations and agricultural inspections.
- Ensures that international arrivals and departures are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Fosters and maintains outstanding Jet Access Aviation LLC and client business relations through friendly and efficient response to their travel needs.
- Exercises operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations.
- Ensure that no person other than a flight crewmember is allowed to manipulate aircraft controls. In conjunction with the engine maintenance program document engine trend monitoring data as requested by the Maintenance Department
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Must haves:
- CE525B Type Rating with SIM Training in last 12 months
- 3000 Hours Total Flying Time
- 1500 Hours Total PilotInCommand (PIC) Time
- 500 Hours Multi PIC Time
- 250 Hours PIC in Type Time
- 250 Turbine PIC Time
- Local to or willing to relocate to Indianapolis IN

- Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135 and Part 91.
- Thorough knowledge of FAA ICAO & other international flight operations regulations.

- Computer skills necessary to operate word processing email and webbased and/or mobile device applications.
- Must possess a passionate attention to detail and the ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Present a wellgroomed appearance at all times.
- Valid state drivers license
- Must successfully pass background check and drug test.
- Ability to read and respond to EMail communications.
