Job Description
- Advocate for the needs of exceptional students.
- Accommodate students diverse learning styles abilities and needs.
- Provide an inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students overall growth and development.
- Implement behavioral interventions as needed to promote positive behavior and socialemotional development.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities is strongly preferred.
- Hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement.
- Candidates must have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
