Position Overview
Reporting to the Vice President of Distribution and Planning the Operations Manager serves as a member of the Northwest Operations leadership team overseeing the daytoday operations of the bulk facility including inbound packaging and shipping. This role is responsible for leading all warehouse functions and the Companys operational strategy for the facility.

The Operations Manager ensures efficient processes maximizing productivity and achieving operational goals by managing staff budgets and quality control (indirectly) across various departments while identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the productivity efficiency and overall operations performance of the companys largest warehouse facility.
  • Manage the facilitys leadership team including the Packaging Manager and Inbound Manager.
  • Lead and implement operational processes and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain and oversee strategies and programs that drive operational efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Implement and monitor operational measures and KPIs and track KPIs to improve safety quality order fill ontime delivery and costs.
  • Manage overall budget for the inbound distribution facility including forecasting budgets throughout the year reporting on variances and reasons communicating with team on budget and achieve the budget/forecasted amounts.
  • Provide input to Vice President of Distribution in the areas of facility planning direction and budgetary requirements.
  • Champion a safetyfocused work environment to reduce/eliminate workrelated accidents and injuries. Work closely with the facilitys Human Resources Representative on Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the facilitys Human Resources Representative with regards to Union Grievances and Policy/Procedures.
  • Ensure facilitys alignment on strategic direction for distribution and logistics team.
  • Provide active participation in the planning process leading to 95 order fill.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain to assess and implement inventory control and optimization strategies and programs.

Ideal Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in warehouse manufacturing or distribution management driving operational excellence.
  • Exceptional leadership skills in talent development fostering a highperformance culture and cultivating future leaders within operations.
  • Experience managing and leading all aspects of distribution operations with a demonstrated background in driving efficiency and optimizing supply chain performance.
  • Strong analytical capabilities using data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and achieve measurable business results.
  • Proven track record in change management strategic planning and aligning operational goals with corporate objectives.
  • Expertise in Six Sigma Green Belt Lean Manufacturing and Value Stream Mapping to optimize processes and improve performance.
  • Proven ability to drive business process improvements in an entrepreneurial environment collaborating effectively with diverse teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant field with a strong foundation in business operations.

  • Use of computer and desk
  • This position is an onsite 5 days as per company policy
