The Specialist in Poison Information will be responsible for providing toxicological management information to healthcare providers and to the public over the telephone; following up information/support to potential symptomatic home cases patients evaluated/treated or admitted to a healthcare facility; participating in research projects and professional educational programs to include: new employees students residents hospital staff; other duties as assigned.
NYS licensed/registered (or eligible) Registered Nurse with a Bachelors degree in Nursingand a minimum of 1 year hospitalbased Med/Surg ICU or ED RN nursingexperience OR Associates degree in Nursing and 3 years of hospitalbased Med/Surg ICU or ED RN nursing required. *Will also consider a NYS licensed/registered (or eligible) Pharmacist Physician Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant OR a Medical degree (MD) or foreign equivalent with prior hospital based experience required.

Days Evening & Weekends
This position is 50 parttime role.
