Role Overview
On behalf of our client we are recruiting an experienced mechanical engineer to lead engineering projects drive efficiency maintain highquality standards and foster innovation in processes and service delivery. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimising project workflows ensuring timely delivery and implementing best practices to enhance reliability and customer satisfaction.
This role requires strong leadership skills technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver highquality solutions to clients primarily within Irelands water and wastewater sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee engineering projects from initiation to completion ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Develop and implement project plans including resource allocation timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimise processes and ensure seamless project .
- Drive process improvement initiatives using LEAN methodologies to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Monitor project progress identify risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or bachelors degree in mechanical or industrial engineering (or a related field).
- Minimum 3 years experience in a project management role preferably within the water/wastewater sector.
- Proven expertise in LEAN methodologies process optimisation and maintenance systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
