Job Description
This is a local position working 5 days a week Monday to Friday.
The applicants responsibilities could include the following:
- Install troubleshoot maintain dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps fans tanks conveyors furnaces mechanical power transmission vacuum hydraulic and pneumatic systems programmable logic controls and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation setup and repair of machinery.
- Participation in the preparation of procedures and following of procedures in the course of their work
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers specifications.
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts components or systems using hand and power tools.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
- Clean lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.

- Facilitate and lead a safe work culture.
- Track and find parts.
- Service attachments and working tools.
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Interprovincial Red Seal Ticket
- Experience working on underground mining equipment is an asset but not required
