Pay range: $41.00 $44.00 per hour (Depending on Years of Experience)
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Parttime Activity Therapistto join our team at the Baltimore Central Booking and Intake centerlocated in Baltimore Maryland.
The Activities Therapist provides rehabilitative programs and services through appropriate patient assessment service planning therapeutic activities discharge planning and community reintegration to develop maintain or restore physical emotional and social competencies of the patients. This professional provides recoveryfocused treatment activities and participates on the treatment teams of patients assigned.
PartTime Evening Shift: 4:00pm 12:30am
Qualifications
NCCAP Certification preferred
Bachelors Degree in the social sciences (psychology social work or counseling or related field)
Specific training in Recreational Therapy
Two or more years of experience providing comprehensive art/recreational therapy services
Experience working in corrections preferred
Available Shift: part time 16 hours/week) days
