In this paid internship you will assist with data collection documentation and analysis for research and development efforts associated with the Molten Chloride Reactor Experiment. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail be able to follow complex procedures and have an interest in performing handson work in a radiological laboratory. Reporting to the Advanced Technology of Molten Salts group. This team works a 4x10 schedule and works onsite at our Materials and Fuels complex. Start date and duration of internship vary based on project and student availability. You may be eligible for course credit for this internship if approved by your university.
Minimum Requirements:
Undergraduate Degree Program/ Master Degree Program enrolled full time at an accredited college/university studying Nuclear Engineering Chemical Engineering Materials Science and Engineering
A minimum overall 3.0 GPA
Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT)
