Job Description Summary:
The Environmental Test Supervisor has the responsibility for oversight of Drapers Environmental Test Facility. The Supervisor should have a strong understanding of environmental test planning preparation and surveillance for a variety of environmental test cells.Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
Leads and directs the work of staff an assigned functional area including scheduling daily work assignments.
Supervises the operation of equipment in the functional area.
Interface with engineering on potential design and or test issues including materials and processes providing constructive feedback and alternative approaches for consideration.
Manages the review and analysis of documentation materials and calculations to ensure compliance with functional area safety and quality standards.
Monitors and evaluates the performance of employees ensures all required trainings are completed in a timely manner and participates in the hiring process as needed.
Responsible for coordinating of maintenance and repair of functional equipment.
Supervises personnel decisions related to hiring performance or disciplinary actions.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to develop and mentor others.

Possess organizational and Time management skills.
Proficiency with MS Office Applications
Knowledge of the fields policies procedures and practices.
Education
Minimum requirement of a high school diploma.
A college degree in relevant field of study is preferred.
Experience
Requires 5 years experience in a functional area environment. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
