The postdoctoral position will assist the research team in the Tissue Biomechanics laboratory in the Department of Bioengineering in performing finite element analysis and multiscale computational modeling assessing the biomechanical function of tissues. This will include multiscale biophysical models incorporating multiple evaluation modes of myofascial pain diagnostics and into a patient specific evaluation system that is being developed to inform and direct patient care. The postdoctoral fellow will meet with the Principal Investigator on a weekly basis or more to set research priorities and direction and will work in a highly independent manner. The postdoctoral fellow will also be responsible for developing new technologies to assess myofascial pain and inform therapeutic care.
